Empowering Teams to
Build and Manage AI Agents

Overview
At C3 AI, I led the end-to-end design of the Agent Lifecycle in AI Studio — a no-code workflow that enables engineers to create, test, and deploy reusable AI Agents across C3 AI’s suite of enterprise applications.
Built to accelerate adoption of agent-based automation, this feature empowers teams in industries like Oil & Gas, Supply Chain, and Financial to configure agents aligned with their business goals, monitor performance transparently.

Building AI Agents with Confidence
Building an AI agent sounds powerful, but for many engineers it’s a new and intimidating concept. Without clear guidance, it feels risky and disconnected from the apps they’re trying to build. That’s why we created the Agent Lifecycle in AI Studio — a guided, transparent, and confidence-building way to create, test, and deploy agents.
App Developers
build C3 AI apps and need a reliable way to embed agents into their products.
Data Scientists
Tune prompts, debug agent behavior, and review outputs. need transparency to debug and validate agent behavior.
Business Users
Configure or monitor agents without writing code.

Agent Templates
Instead of starting from a blank slate, engineers select from curated templates that match common business goals — making agents approachable and accelerating setup.

Focused Workplace
Includes configuration, preview, and trace panels, each supporting a core task in the agent workflow. Panels can be shown or hidden based on what users are working on — whether building, testing, or debugging, users can see what they need without losing focus.
Interactive Trace
Every response reveals a transparent trace: which tools were invoked, what data was processed, and where failures occurred. Debugging becomes intuitive.
